Leaving New York never easy.

This one made me feel like an idiot.

A bus leaves Chicago to go to New York at noon. A car leaves New York to go to Chicago an hour later, and the car is going 15 mph slower than the bus. When they meet, which is farther from New York?

Correct Answer!
They are both the same distance from New York. If you want to get technical, then it is the bus because it would is longer than the car (but let's not get caught up on technicalities).

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but when they meet, won't they be the same distance?

Correct Answer!
When they meet they would be the same distance from either location (I knew it had to be a trick question but it took me way too long to realize the answer).
