I was navigator. Here we are on the way back home. We had driven through downtown Chicago on teh way there (we took the Skyway), but had hit a lot of traffic, and wanted to avoid that. [Also, Kris wanted to avoid the craziness of inner city Chicago highway driving, which is understandable, even though she did a fine job on the drive out there.]. So I was finding a new route using this travel Atlas.
