This was quite the surprise. Back when we lived in Cleveland, there was a book that I (and Kristin) would love to check out. It was called Heads and Tales, and it was this charming story about these wierd creatures, and it was really funny, and strange, and we just loved it. A while after we moved, I decided I'd like to read it again... and was unable to find any information on it at all. So every now and then I'd think of it again, and look a bit, and always coem up a failure. Eventually I learned the author's name, but even that brought me no closer to finding a copy of the book.. so eventually I pretty much gave up. Well, Kristin went and did some research, eventually leading her to the Cuyahoga Country Library system, which got her all sorts of information about the book, and she was able to find a copy of the book, which she then gave to me for Christmas. It was an awesome gift, and very much unexpected. Nicely done, Kris.
